Calle 9 Sur #32-269. A 1930s Gothic-style mansion turned museum, with period rooms, art and — the reason most people go — landscaped gardens with views. Open Monday to Friday 9 am–5 pm and weekends and holidays 10 am–5 pm; tickets are priced separately for the full museum-and-gardens visit and for the gardens alone, with a higher rate for foreign visitors (roughly COP 35,000 for the full visit). A taxi from the park takes ten minutes.
Parque Lineal La Presidenta
A green corridor along the La Presidenta creek, with trees, gardens, coloured bridges and small recreation areas, threading from the Parque Lleras area downhill toward the Santafé shopping centre. It is a pleasant way to walk down to the Milla de Oro rather than along the avenue, and a good reset after a late night.

Rainy afternoon?
Medellín’s afternoons often bring a shower, especially in the April–May and September–November wet seasons. The malls — Oviedo, Santafé, El Tesoro — are the local answer, and not a bad one: cinemas, food courts, the SIM-card counter you needed anyway. Ciudad del Río’s MAMM (the modern art museum) is a ten-minute taxi and the best indoor option in the area.
