Envy is the rooftop on top of The Charlee Hotel, seventeen floors above Parque Lleras: a pool, a view over El Poblado, and the bar most visitors end up at on their first night.
The view, first
Envy occupies floors 17 and 18 of The Charlee, with an aquarium-style pool on the terrace and a capacity somewhere around three hundred. It is on Parque Lleras rather than near it, which makes it the default first stop for anyone staying on the square.
The programme is cocktails, sushi supplied by the hotel’s ONI Nikkei restaurant, chef appetizers and live music. Be clear with yourself about what you are buying: this is a rooftop bar with a kitchen, not a restaurant with a view. Come for the drinks and the city, eat properly somewhere else.
Getting in, and what it costs
Reservations run through Cluvi, linked from the venue’s own site, and the hotel takes enquiries by email. Table seating comes with a minimum spend that varies by night, group size and where the table is — it is quoted to you in writing before your booking is confirmed, so ask, and get the number before you commit.
The dress code is described by booking concierges as stylish and dressed-up: no athletic wear, no gym shoes, nothing too casual. The venue itself does not publish the rule, so err upwards.
Make sure you have the right one
Envy’s own website lists an address that does not match Parque Lleras geography, and one large review site prints the street number with the wrong prefix. The address the hotel itself gives — and the one that matches where the building actually is — is Calle 9A #37-16, on the park. If a taxi driver looks confused, name The Charlee Hotel rather than the bar.

The simplest version of an Envy night is to book a room underneath it. The trade-off is the one everybody on Lleras makes: you are in the middle of the noise.
